Right - "Arthur's Morning"
The latest installation of Theartbay''s astonishing corporate fine art acrylic prints has led to wonderful feedback from patients and staff at The University Hospital of North Staffordshire''s New Cancer Unit. As reported in the regional press (see downloadable file)
The works, which feature the art of "Aitch" aka Harry Davies and Frederick Phillips, both renowned Potteries based artists and both former understudies of the great Arthur Berry, appear in two sizes: 1 metre and 1.5 metre square panels.
Hospital Trust Chairman, Mike Brereton, remarked: "It''s wonderful these superb local painters are making such an enormous contribution to the place. Their work adds a real quality to the hospital and raises people''s awareness of high class art"
"It stands as further testimony to Theartbay''s and its associates'' commitment to providing high quality, consumer focused art to businesses and organisations to help regenerate North Staffordshire" says Alan Gerrard. Theartbay Gallery.

All are available as exclusive limited edition prints on heavy-weight matte art paper. See individual items for prices and dimensions. Originals available at Theartbay Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent.
Originals, limited edition prints and mugs of Sid Kirkham''s Urban Landscapes of "The Potteries" are now exclusively available from staffordshirefinearts.co.uk - the site devoted to artwork from, and to do with Stoke-on-Trent. See Sid''s story here.
Wondering what the hell Stoke-on-Trent is all about? Well, it''s where the pottery / ceramic industry took hold in the British Industrial Revolution of the 18th Century. This curious area without a main urban centre, but instead made up of 6 towns and known as "The Potteries" produced the world renowned manufacturers; Wedgwood, Spode, Minton and Royal Doulton, among hundreds of others. Thus making Stoke-on-Trent, truly the historic ceramic capital of the world!
