Gifts celebrating the Lidice Shall Live campaign
Lidice Shall Live 75th Anniversary Bone China Mug
( LG001 )
Straight from the internationally recognised centre for excellence in ceramics Theartbay Gallery and Emma Bailey Ceramics offers you the 75th Anniversary Lidice Shall Live fine bone china mug. Celebrating the grassroots global campaign which saw the "Phoenix from the Flames" revival of the village of Lidice following its destruction at the hands of the Nazis in June 1942.
The Process
Applying a unique back stamp designed with our companies' logos to celebrate 75 years of the Lidice Shall Live campaign. Hand painted in the traditional method, once used in The Potteries. A combination of striking reds shaded to bring the rose alive. The mug then undergoes its first decorative firing.
On cooling, next the application of that luxurious touch. The lining of rose and rim with real gold provides a prestigious look whilst retaining that contemporary, modern feel, and a sense of gravitas for the achievements of the campaign before the product is sent to its second and final enamel firing.
